GTA 3: Definitive Edition – 10 Things You NEED TO KNOW

Xbox Live Summer of Arcade: Bastion Review

Bastion tells an interesting story, but the takeaway for most people is going to be the way it’s told – but more on that in a second. You play as The Kid who wakes up after somehow surviving a near-world ending event, known as the Calamity, and heads for refuge in a place known as the Bastion. The Bastion was supposed to be a safe haven for The Kid’s people if things went south, but when you arrive you find it incomplete and deserted.

From Dust Review

From Dust, by Ubisoft Montpellier, is a world building God game in the literal sense of the term. There’s no economy building, resource gathering or micromanagement, but that doesn’t mean From Dust is a simple game, far from it. You play as The Breath, a god-like entity that can reshape the world by picking up large amounts of matter and releasing it elsewhere. Your aim is to help guide tiny ant-sized humans toward various totems so that they can create surrounding villages which will ultimately unlock a final shrine that allows your people move on.

Review of Flash Game: Zomgies 2

Working the night shift is bound to give you strange dreams. You never know what you will encounter on your way to work. Some nights, you may encounter a hoard of green creatures with their lips sticking out called “Zomgies”. These no longer human creatures bite and eventually rip your head off as you try to kill them all. But don’t be scared. Instead have some fun. Like the hero (or victim) of the game says while sprinting down the street, egging the Zomgies on, this would make an awesome game.

Catherine Video Game Review

Catherine is Atlus’s first internally developed game for the current console generation. Atlus, a Japanese developer probably best known for the Shin Megami Tensei series of games, has also been making a name for itself as a publisher of quirky titles and for localizing niche imports. Catherine definitely fits in with the majority of Atlus’s catalog, as the game oozes a style and charm not commonly found in games developed stateside. Oh, and it’s completely bizarre.

Review of Flash Game: Marching Zombies

Have you ever wasted a few hours playing Bejeweled? Ever get bored of staring at the tacky shiny gems? Wish there was more excitement and strategy?

Conquest of the Crystal Palace

Whenever we think of the NES, the legendary games that carved out the modern gaming landscape we still enjoy come to mind. Super Mario Brothers, Legend of Zelda, Mega Man, Castlevania, the games that still benefit from new releases to this day. Unfortunately in the wake of those heavy hitters many games that were just as good have been lost and forgotten by time.

White Knight Chronicles II Preview

This game White Knight Chronicles II seems that it may overcome the problems White Knight Chronicles had. White Knight Chronicles was released in 2010 and was a game I was really excited for before Final Fantasy XIII. White Knight Chronicles had a few issues in the game that made it less enjoyable and White Knight Chronicles II hopes to improve greatly upon.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Preview

There were a lot of people that bashed Final Fantasy XIII. Some even wonder why they would think to make a second game when the first game was so bad. But the first game actually was pretty good, it was just different then your typical Final Fantasy game.

F3AR Review (PS3)

F.3.A.R. is the third installment in the main FEAR series. Is it worth the wait, and can it compare to its horrifying predecessors?

Review of Flash Game: Haunted Suburb

Zombies, ghosts, robots and giant insects are taking over the suburbs. This time, don’t call Ghost Busters or your local pest control man; call the steam punk characters, Otis and Franceska, to save the neighborhood. Choose your favorite character and set up a variety of towers and traps for these undead and inhuman creatures to fall, waddle, or drive into in this desktop tower defense game.
