As anyone who has ever owned any form of PlayStation will know, Metal Gear Solid is verging on becoming the longest and most successful series of games ever to reach our gaming screens. We all loved the first 3 in the series and the long awaited 4th and final installment did not disappoint.

Age of Conan is an adult themed online role playing game. What class you pick determines how well you perform in the game, and skills/equipment in combat. I have outlined all the classes below with their strengths and weaknesses.

Now, as me being a long time Resident Evil fan, played all of them, including the demo for this new installment; i wonder… Has Resident Evil “lost the horror”?

Great atmosphere, game variety, and outstanding graphics and sound combine to make it the best game released this year. Rather than settling to copy other survival horror games, Dead Space creates a fun shooting mechanism that rewards you for shooting specific weak points of monsters. Sections that require you to slow down time, venture through zero gravity sections and find air in the vacuum of outer space provide excellent variety throughout the adventure.

Summoner has the quintessential formula for the role-playing game: unassuming hero (usually a farmer or peasant) gets thrown (against his will) into a series of events that delve him deeper into his/her role as hero and eventually the hero embraces his destiny and defeats the bad guy. While that sounds formulaic, it isn’t and Summoner pulls it off well. If you haven’t played or even heard of Summoner, you aren’t alone; not many people gave the game a chance when it came out alongside the Playstation 2 in 2000, which is strange considering the abysmal game …

The Prince of Persia series has created excellent platforming adventures that include thrilling series of traps while including fun powers, such as the ability to control time. The latest entry in the series takes a markedly different approach by using cel-shaded graphics, a semi-open world environment, and a sidekick, Elika, to accompany you on your adventure. While the series’ prior changes have been great additions, these new drastic changes only serve to detract from the game’s solid foundation.
